Christmas miracles abound!

The biggest kid is SUCH a Star Wars fan, that he almost bought 3D tickets for a Saturday morning matinee a few days after opening night.

Lo and behold, our realtor group was putting on an appreciation night for all current and past customers to watch it in standard 2D, free of charge!

As we had taken the little ones to a movie before we thought they would be semi behaved. Way past their bedtime, they were not the easiest to tend to.

Another patron offered to buy us tickets so Mom and Dad could have a date night unmolested by offspring, and even went so far as to also offer babysitting during the aforementioned date, anytime!

Now that is a Christmas miracle!

Just don't tell me anymore spoilers past the first hour! I mean it!

Status update - Day 2 Demo day! Brother and father in law were powerhouses. Work began shortly before 6am, and with the help of a few volunteers we got all the old shingles and perlins off, strengthened the frame and put down the osb for the sheeting.

The adventures of roof replacing...

Day 0.5 - bought lights and gloves.

Day 1 - decided against garbage bagging the insulation. Instead spread visqueen on top, stapled to tie-ins.

She's here... at last!

We had fun in the sun, and came home well-done!

8 months old and still kicking...

Every day she's more and more excited to see other babies her age.

5 years and coming... It's finally happened!

I get to go to an exotic destination with my wife, all expenses paid!

Scout Winter-ee 2018

Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
Inside my mummy bag it's delightful,
And since the winds picking up,

Even though I got off work early, I still suffered my cold/allergies through the whole weekend. It was still fun.

Only had one boy suffer a minor hatchet injury. He was chopping up kindling for fire building at a station competition. 

Being sick is no fun...

4 and a half months... going on 5!

We are so thankful and grateful for the little angel that has graced our lives. She is so precious to us. We know that she will grow up to be a strong older sister and an example to her younger siblings some day.
