4 and a half months... going on 5!

We are so thankful and grateful for the little angel that has graced our lives. She is so precious to us. We know that she will grow up to be a strong older sister and an example to her younger siblings some day.

Heading to the hospital

We're literally "making like a baby and heading out!"

The bed is functionally finished!

The bed has been done for a bit now, and it hasn't been until just recently that I realized we hadn't posted pictures of the final result.

Here it is for your enjoyment, in collage form.

So we tried something new.

Spend $20 in produce, get more than $20 stuff.

We just don't know how to cook beets!

Monday night's project confirmed:

This bed would have cost us about $150, but they were so nice to donate theirs.

Status update

Collection packed 85%, moving box spring out Monday to make room for packed costumes, packed toys, and packed kitchenwares along with posters and books.

Moving collection out should give us plenty of room for baby crib delivery on Saturday. Also tearing out previous bed platform and constructing the new frame will give us more storage underneath in the master bedroom.

Not a whole lot of news this week...

Only two bits of info.

I was rejected for one team position I was interviewed for. I was told to keep a diary of experiences and projects to draw upon for future reference and future interviews.

The journal is now being published, and research is being collected. I almost feel like I'm in a similar situation as my previous employer.

The other bit is the wife is gestational diabetic. So, new diets are being explored. We love our veggies and won't give up that, or cheese, but have to find alternatives to bread and some sweet snacks.

On our drive through Sugar back home, I noticed that there's still snow on the tops of the Tetons!

Stained in the back of our yard, now face North!

Yesterday, conducted the first test of the bed stain, classic grey on pine.

One of these leg supports got a second coat, but it's almost imperceptible.

We're also procuring a convertible baby crib.

Not quite the idea we had in mind, but you get it...

It's going to be a princess!

We've already posted this to the book of faces, but here's the nitty details.

Close calculation and approximation puts her arrival sometime between July and August...

We're excited to have her!

Still expecting...

Nearing 20 weeks and we're soon about to get our first ultrasound...

Get rid of old beanbag couch, thus ensuring room to work.
